I got tickled the other day. I noticed that if I got up somebody immediately got the place where I was sitting. My house isn't very big, but definitely bigger than the living quarter trailer we used to live in, LoL. Anyway, I finally ended up at the dining room table. All of my Smiles gravitated to the table and Lu did too. She looked up at me and said Mom it seems like the party is always where you are! I laughed and then began to think what a compliment that is. To know that my children and their children want to be where I am blesses me more than I can say.
I usually go to bed before everyone else does so I can stretch out and read. Bec and Jo have been workin out with me in the evening too. I have to tell you that is a treat, to say the least. I noticed that I hadn't had much one on one time with Steph and Magen. In the back of my mind I had thought I should try to make that happen. Well just so happened that very evening the little girls were doing something different and Magen came and snuggled with me. We watched "Duets" together and laughed and talked for a couple of hours. Then the very next night Steph came and snuggled. We talked about how she wanted to decorate her room and about the upcoming school year in a new school. I want them to know how important they are to me. Such sweet times together. I hope they never forget....I hope I never do.
I have to think that God feels the same way about our one on one time with Him. It might not be quantity time but definitely need quality time..... I know how I feel when they want to be with me, so I have to know that is how He feels.
