I feel like all I say to y'all is I'm so blessed, I'm so blessed....but I am soooo blessed.
Today was completely out of the box......!!!!! I still can hardly believe that I'm in Nashville, on music row recording a new project, with original songs for HIM!!! Country girl goes to town, LoL!!
Everything went exceptionally well. I was so concerned about doing the songs justice...but I just kept on practicing and trying to be prepared. Mark Johnson is my producer and he and Chris, the engineer, just kept telling me I was making it easy on them. YES!!! Then when they call you back around to listen....I just kept thinking I don't sound like that! (at least not in the shower, bahahaha) WoW God is so so good.
I'm so glad Lu is here with me. She had been taking picture and video. She is making sure I don't miss a thing. Plus she can hear what they are saying when I can't...haha
We accomplished our goal of recording 5 songs today with lots of time left over. They will put background vocals on tonight. We will start again in the morning and do the other 5.
I just want to thank y'all again for lovin me and praying and supporting me. It's so nice to be able to bring you along with me. I hope to encourage you to never give up on your dreams. If you crave it, it's probably what your suppose to be doing.
