The Arena

I went out to set some hay for my stud horse and grain him. I noticed all the tall weeds in the arena. I still have my bush hog on the back of the tractor. I decided to make a few rounds with it since I was already out there. As I began to mow the Lord began to show me some things. You see when we were using that arena all the time no weeds grew there. When we stopped using it tho the weeds began to grow. I didn't plant them there....they just have always been there waiting for a chance to grow. So when I stopped tending to the ground the weeds took that opportunity to grow and grow and grow. If I never do anything to prevent them from growing they will just continue to get bigger and over take the arena. You see things not tended to still grow. Just not what we necessarily want to grow there. We have to tend to the things that we want to grow......Spend time with the Lord and read His word and listen to His voice to keep things right in our hearts and our minds. Just thinkin is all....
