They were having mini-cheer camp practice Wednesday night. Amber and I took the babies and Magen up to the gym and we were watching them. We were laughing and enjoying the performance when all of a sudden Bboo came running off the court. She didn't want to practice anymore. They were almost finished. Amber told her you have to. You get to cheer at the pep rally on Friday and the game Friday night. Nothing she did could convince her to go finish. We both just kind of looked at each other. We couldn't figure out what had happened...
That night I was watching them for Amber and Jpooh said I saw you and Momma laughing at me. I said what baby??? We were not laughing at you. She said yes y'all were I saw you. Then Bboo said I saw ya too! Then it dawned on me why she had ran off the court. She honestly thought we were laughing at her......ugh!! That broke my heart.... I told them, do you think I would ever laugh at you...no ma'am, I would never ever laugh at you!!! We were just so happy that we were doing so good and having so much fun it made us happy and we laugh when we are happy!!!
It made me realize that if our own precious babies could imagine that we were laughing at them...what do they think other people are doing. Or what do other people think we are doing to them?? I've always wondered where bashfulness came from. I struggle with it myself and it's a horrible feeling. Now that we know what's going on we can work on it though. Praise the Lord! We have always encouraged and edified them and we always will. I guess some of us just need a little extra. I just want them to have fun and enjoy life and know who they are in Christ!!
