Psalm 138:8
Saturday morning my little dog wouldn't even get out of bed to go outside. I knew something wasn't right. She is usually bouncing off the wall wanting Lu to let her out. She moped around most of that day. On Sunday I noticed the the large knot on her shoulder had burst. She was still limping a little that day, but she was at least out of bed. I decided it was time to go to the vet. We called for an appointment Monday and of course they couldn't get her in. So yesterday at 2 we took her in. She is usually a little nervous and shaking when we go to new places, but not today. She was unusually calm. The name of the Vet Clinic is CornerStone, hmmmmm. We have used this clinic for as long as we have lived here, but it sold last year. So we go in and wait in the little waiting room and she falls asleep in my lap. Again very unusual.... Dr. Adams comes in to examine her, she is still calm. He immediately says it's a cyst and has to be removed. She had to stay overnight and we can pick her up this morning after 10 am. You have to understand this is the Diva Dog that has been with me for the last 13 year. She knows me better than most people and has been more places than most people. YOU WANT ME TO LEAVE HER? Well after a conversation about the Lord (imagine that), I handed my baby over to him and she is still calm. Dr. Adams promised to treat her like a baby and tuck her in bed.... then we left. I have to think she was calm because she could feel the peace that was there. I think that my scripture applies again in the circumstance, Psalm 138:8. Thank you Sir for taking such good care of us!!!
