My Bracelet

I didn't actually get to spend Christmas Eve or Christmas Day with Amber and the girls. When they got back home from East Texas everybody came over for potatoe soup that night. Jpooh had a little gift for me. She gave me this little gift wrapped package in the shape of a square. She was so excited for me to open her gift. I sat down and she stood in front of me while I began to unwrap it. Layer after layer of paper came off until finally there was a precious little silver charm bracelet. Her little face was lit up with pride when I told her I loved it and immediately put it on. Later I told her again how much I loved it. She said I know you like jewelry Nannie. I've thought about that a hundred times after that. She knew that I liked jewelry...she knew that I liked jewelry....That blessed my heart. You see she is only 5 years old. So for her to know that, then we must have been spending some time together....She must have been paying attention to what I like and dislike... I have accumulated several pieces of nice jewelry over the years and a whole lot of what we call junk jewelry. I have worn that little silver charm bracelet everyday since she gave it to me. Even when I started to pack to go to OK, that was what I wanted to wear. I don't know, maybe it's just me but it just blessed my heart. 

I'm not sure why I felt so impressed to share this with you, but there it is. I'm in love with my family!! Thank you Sir for every precious moment I get to spend with each one of them. I don't want to miss a thing!!
