It seems I am always trying to make the Bible hard....
I finally came across a scripture in Matthew that answered all my questions about praying and how to better confirm that Jesus is willing to answer our prayers. I think we get all bound up in the things we have done and forget that it's really about what HE did.
Here is the scripture:
Matt 8: 1-3: 1 When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. 2 And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.”Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
Did you hear that? HE IS WILLING.... Wow!!! That's so great. HE IS WILLING. Go ahead and tell yourself that over and over and over it you need too. HE IS WILLING
You see that's how faith works, you have to be totally convinced that HE IS WILLING to do it for YOU....
