Psm 138:8
I love it when HE does something for you that no one else knows about. When you know that you know that HE gave it to you. Jeremiah 29:11 says "I know the thoughts I think towards you says the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you a future and a hope." That's what God says about you. Did you hear me??? That's what God says about YOU!!! He is thinking about us. OH YEAH THAT'S MY GOD!!

When you are young it seems like you are always trying to fit in. I never really did. Not sure why? Just didn't feel like I did. It probably kept me out of a lot of trouble. The older I get the more I know just being yourself is the best way to be. We don't have to be like everybody else. God made us unique. He did that on purpose. It would be pretty stinkin boring if we were all just alike, LOL. I want to encourage you to stop worrying about what other people think and just be concerned about what HE thinks. JUST BE YOU!!
BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 It's kinda funny that the things that used to drive me crazy don't bother me at all these days. When you think about them long term they just really don't seem to matter much anymore. Probably won't even remember them 10 years from now. Happiness really is a choice. So go ahead and choose to be HAPPY!
BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 It seems like when I get to do special things with my Smiles it makes remember the special things I did with my own Nannie~n~Pa. We didn't get to go spend the night much. The time when spent with them was always special time. I remember huntin eggs with Pa and him throwing me up on his shoulders. Playing washers out under the big cotton wood trees beside their house. Sittin on the front porch eatin watermelon....I could go on and on. I'm so very grateful to have my Smiles close by to enjoy and make memories with. I don't want to miss a thang.....
Don't forget to make time for each other...time is short!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 Looking at these beautiful babies laying sleeping in my living room....remembering the birth of each one of them. How I sang to each one of them in their mommy's belly. We anxiously awaited their arrival. We checked each little finger and each little toe. We looked at their baby blue eyes and rubbed their soft little heads. Kissed each little cheek and each little foot. I have to wonder....but I know with out a doubt....that God loves us even more than I love them!!! Mind boggling isn't it!! BUT HE even had someone write it in a book to remind us when we forget!! Thank you Sir that we are always on YOUR mind!! Oh how I love you!!
Y'all have a GREAT day too!! I'm sure going too!! BlessingS Carol/MJ I've been doing laundry all day today. I am blessed with a lot of them. It's made me remember how it was when we were little. We had school clothes and play clothes. When we got home from school everyday we had to change into our play clothes. We only had a set of clothes for each day. When I think back on it we just thought it was that way for everyone. We never thought that we were poor or underprivileged at all. We were alway cleaned and ironed...we might not have always matched, LOL. There was so much love in our home it really didn't matter. I know from having kids of my own how hard it is to keep them all clothed. None of those things matter in the grand scheme of things. It's the LOVE that mattered and we had plenty of that.
I think the things that our kids and grand babies will remember the most is the time we spend with them and the love we give them. Thank you Sir for my family and for good memories!! I pray I make good ones for mine!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 It would have been easy to quit when Jeff got his promotion to his heavenly assignment. There are still days it seems pretty tempting. LoL I'm sure that's true even if you aren't a widow. HE gets me out of bed everyday and uses you to encourage me to go on. No where in the Bible does it say life will be easy. It does say that HE will go with us through it though. So today and I'm sure tomorrow that will be more than enough to get me through. I have the greatest family, friends and ministry anyone could ever hope for. I am truly blessed. I pray that I can be a blessing. I believe my job is to encourage you not to give up. Keep on whooping and spurring to accomplish your dreams. So consider this your kick in the be--hind. LOL Know that I'm praying for you and believing to hear the good reports.
I love you all for believing in me and kicking me in the be--hind with your love, prayer and encouragement. WE ARE GONNA MAKE IT!! HE AIN'T DONE WITH US YET!! WHOOOOOHOOOO HE AIN'T DONE WITH US YET! If you ever find yourself wondering if anybody loves you....remember HE does and so do I! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 My cousin, Brian had back surgery recently. I am grateful to say that he is up walking and just got home today. I am in awe of his progress and and again grateful to God for HIS healing in Brian's life. He still has a ways to go to be where he wants to be. I know he will get there!!
I always enjoy going to Sissy and Brian's house. They have a love for each other that I pray we all find in our lives. Everybody deserves to know that there is someone in the world that loves them more than any one else. That wonderers where they are and what they are doing. That looks forward to them coming home. All relationships take work and a lot of love. I believe that when you are truly in love it's worth the work. Thank you Sissy and Brian for always making me feel welcome and for being an example of what a couple should be Sissy I loved watching you take care of Brian. I know without a doubt he would do it for you too!! TRUE LOVE is a gift!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 It's not that everyday is perfect for me....I just choose not to relive the bad ones......
I thought about this song this morning. I wonder what life would be like if we were as quick to spread good news as we are to spread the bad???? I think I'm gonna work on that!!! I rolled out this morning Kids had the mornin' news show on Bryant Gumbel was talkin' 'bout the fighting in Lebanon Some senator was squawkin' 'bout the bad economy It's gonna get worse you see, we need a change in policy There's a local paper rolled up in a rubber band One more sad story's one more than I can stand Just once how I'd like to see the headline say "Not much to print today, can't find nothin' bad to say", because Nobody robbed a liquor store on the lower part of town Nobody OD'ed, nobody burned a single buildin' down Nobody fired a shot in anger, nobody had to die in vain We sure could use a little good news today I'll come home this evenin' I'll bet that the news will be the same Somebody takes a hostage, somebody steals a plane How I wanna hear the anchor man talk about a county fair And how we cleaned up the air, how everybody learned to care Whoa, tell me Nobody was assassinated in the whole Third World today And in the streets of Ireland, all the children had to do was play And everybody loves everybody in the good old USA We sure could use a little good news today Nobody robbed a liquor store on the lower part of town Nobody OD'ed, nobody burned a single buildin' down Nobody fired a shot in anger, nobody had to die in vain We sure could use a little good news today Sure do love y'all!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 You're a 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in The jungle somewhere in the Central Highlands of Viet Nam. It's November 11, 1967. LZ (landing zone) X-ray. Your unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense from 100 yards away, that your CO (commanding officer) has ordered the MedEvac helicopters to stop coming in. You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns... and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Then - over the machine gun noise - you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter. You look up to see a Huey coming in. But . . . It doesn't seem real because no MedEvac markings are on it. Captain Ed Freeman is coming in for you. He's not MedEvac so it's not his job, but he heard the radio call and decided he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway. Even after the MedEvacs were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway. And he drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load 3 of you at a time on board. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the doctors and nurses and safety. And, he kept coming back!! 13 more times!! Until all the wounded were out. No one knew until the mission was over that the Captain had been hit 4 times in the legs and left arm. He took 29 of you and your buddies out that day. Some would not have made it without the Captain and his Huey. Medal of Honor Recipient, Captain Ed Freeman, United States Air Force, died last Wednesday at the age of 70, in Boise, Idaho May God Bless and Rest His Soul. I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we've sure seen a whole bunch about Lindsay Lohan, Tiger Woods and the bickering of congress over Health Reform. Medal of Honor Recipient Captain Ed Freeman.
Thank you Sir for our Heros! I'm so grateful to live in the USA!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psm 138:8 |
