I just wanted to share a little bit about Family Camp. Sometimes as onlookers we don't realize how much hard work goes on before we get there. Mowing, cleaning, painting, putting up tents, working the arena... you get the picture! When there are only two of you in the ministry full time, it can be a little overwhelming.
Ron and Lorna never complained one time. Their labor is a labor of love for their Lord and for the people they serve. I asked Lorna if they ever stop?? I guess when you know what your call is there is no stop. Even before I got to Canada Lorna had kept me updated on what was going on and what to expect, what the weather would be like and what would be provided for my stay. What a blessings they were to me.
From the minute I stepped away from the luggage pickup in Regina, I barely lifted my finger to do anything. They treated me like royalty.... It makes me want to cry right now just thinking about how sweet their whole family was to me. Everyone at camp was wonderful to be honest with you. You would have thought that they had always known me.
I believe if we go where God has called us then their will be favor. To get to be a part of His plan is so amazing.
Anyway, Thank you Ron and Lorna and your wonderful family and friends for everything you did to bless me.....Oh and Ron, Thanks for the ice caps and for carrying my big ole suitcase!! LoL
