God wants us to SAVE OUR FORK!!!! Our best days are yet to come. God's plans come full circle. He is raising you up to send you forward. Be grateful for where you are right now, and excited and expectant for where God's going to take you!
In the south many people would have a "big Sunday dinner" every Sunday. There would be fried chicken, mashed potatoes, rolls, mac n cheese....all the good stuff! A lot of work and love would go into these meals. The family members would stuff themselves beyond the full point. The women would come around and gather dirty dishes from people. One man remembers when he was a little boy, his mom came around to get his plate and she whispered in his ear "save your fork". He was so excited. He knew that meant something sweet and delicious was coming!
God wants us to SAVE OUR FORK!!!! Our best days are yet to come. God's plans come full circle. He is raising you up to send you forward. Be grateful for where you are right now, and excited and expectant for where God's going to take you! Thank you Bobbie and Lu for sharing this with me so I can share it with others!! I am so blessed to be a blessing! Sure do love y'all!! Have a GREAT day too!! Carol/MJ

My precious friend and mentor Glen Smith was the first person I ever heard refer to God as Sir. I think because of my up bringing it just made Him more real to me. We always, always said yes sir, no sir and yes ma'am, no ma'am. It just seem to fit somehow. Now that's just how I see him. Like my Daddy. He is the one who cares for me more than anyone else does. He is the one who listens to me and always cares about the small stuff. He is the one who never makes me feel bad for whining...HE IS THE ONE!!!
Thank you Sir for....well everything!!! BlessingS, Love y'all bunches and bunches!! Carol/MJ Psalms 138:8 I have been working on year end thank you letters today. I am once again reminded of how very blessed I am. It's really no wonder though. If you read the Bible and see what it says about you. We are not poor little christian kids....We are KINGS kids. I've never seen any poor little Kings kids, have you? Remember it's what you believe about your self that counts. What others think and say about us can influence us, but it doesn't have too. I keep on hearing it's your choice....it's your choice. He is no different than any other good parent. I said good parent. We want the very best for our children. So why wouldn't HE!!
Love y'all!!!!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 Well Young Pro Camp 2012 is getting here fast!! We are busy organizing, cleaning, packing, and trying to get the schedule put together. I just want to say in advance, thank you to everyone that helps to accomplish this Camp. Every year I always say it's the best one ever, because it truly is. God just keeps on showing up and showing out. It's because of the obedience of many that we can provide quality teaching and ministry at this camp. No one is paid to come to the camp. Every Pro roper and every Minister comes because they love God and they love the kids. Even out Master Chef donates his time and efforts. Only God could get us all together in this way. I am believing again this year for the best Young Pro Camp ever. Please believe with me and help plow the ground for a mighty out pouring of God's Spirit this year.
Thank you Sir!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalms 138:8 Amber and the girls came over after the stock show today. They always want to play with the ipod or the kindle. We gave them earphones to use. Becca was talking really loud, she thought we couldn't hear her, haha. Amber kept telling her, don't talk so loud. The next thing I know she is just a singing "Ordinary Things". Of course then she and Jpooh switched. Here comes Jpooh just a singing "If I Was Jesus" (I'd have some reeeeal long hair), LoL Now I'm sitting here listening to them both sing "Hold Us Together". Oh yeah, it makes my face smile, it makes my heart smile.....IT STINKIN MAKES ME HAPPY!! It just don't get much better. To have the ones you love the most, love the things you love the most. I have to wonder if God feels the same way about us....I reckon He probably does!!
BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 I had a couple of little Min Pins that had died for various reasons. I had sworn off of having another dog. It just hurt too bad to loose them. We had been in Odessa at a Booger Barter Roping. Someone had baby schnauzers, they were too stinkin cute. I didn't want Jeff to see me looking at them because I knew he would get me one, LoL. Well he caught me and I just made light of it. Anyway time went on. i remember so well the day I got Marti. We were headed to Tulsa from Vinta. We very rarely argued but that day we had a doozie. I wasn't even looking at him much less speaking to him. We pull into the parking lot of a gracery store. We had just eaten so I couldn't for the life of me figure out what we were doing there. Of course I wouldn't ask cause I was mad, LoL. Well he gets out and goes into the living quarters trailer. I'm on the phone telling Amber what I just told you. Then this van pulls up. The lady gets out and comes to my window. Remember I'm mad and I don't have a clue what is going on. I roll down my window. The lady says are you the folks looking for a schnauzer? I said no ma'am, not us. About that time it dawns on me...... I said wait a minute and about that time Jeff walks up beside the lady. Oh my goodness!! Well I get out and she opens the side door of her van. She turns three little dogs loose. A black one, a white one and a gray one. The little black one comes straight over to me and licks my hand. She picked me. I fell in love!! She has been my faithful companion from that day on. Jeff told me once he was jealous of her, LoL. Needless to say Jeff and I made up. He told me he was afraid I wouldn't take her because I was so mad. He had been saving his money for months to bless me with her. There is no doubt in my mind that God blessed me with her and him too for that matter.
Once again, I am so very grateful for all you do for me Sir....Thank you!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 Saturday morning my little dog wouldn't even get out of bed to go outside. I knew something wasn't right. She is usually bouncing off the wall wanting Lu to let her out. She moped around most of that day. On Sunday I noticed the the large knot on her shoulder had burst. She was still limping a little that day, but she was at least out of bed. I decided it was time to go to the vet. We called for an appointment Monday and of course they couldn't get her in. So yesterday at 2 we took her in. She is usually a little nervous and shaking when we go to new places, but not today. She was unusually calm. The name of the Vet Clinic is CornerStone, hmmmmm. We have used this clinic for as long as we have lived here, but it sold last year. So we go in and wait in the little waiting room and she falls asleep in my lap. Again very unusual.... Dr. Adams comes in to examine her, she is still calm. He immediately says it's a cyst and has to be removed. She had to stay overnight and we can pick her up this morning after 10 am. You have to understand this is the Diva Dog that has been with me for the last 13 year. She knows me better than most people and has been more places than most people. YOU WANT ME TO LEAVE HER? Well after a conversation about the Lord (imagine that), I handed my baby over to him and she is still calm. Dr. Adams promised to treat her like a baby and tuck her in bed.... then we left. I have to think she was calm because she could feel the peace that was there. I think that my scripture applies again in the circumstance, Psalm 138:8. Thank you Sir for taking such good care of us!!!
BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 I don't usually like to post the really long reads, but I felt this to be very important. Just because we don't know it's happening, doesn't mean it's not!!! The man who walks with God always gets to his destination. If you have a pulse you have a purpose. The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States , especially in the minority races!! Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their beliefs. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say. The Muslim gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?' There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!' I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.' He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine The Pope commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!' The Muslim was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs. In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. To elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S. Should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely Publicized, unless each of us sends it on! This is your chance to make a difference... BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 Every time I watch my Stephanie play basketball I still see a tiny little girl. I'm always reminded of her telling me, when she was a tiny little thing, I want to play all the balls Nannie. She absolutely loves playing basketball. Isn't it funny what triggers your memory. I find myself wanting to make things happen for her and all my Smiles for that matter. I have to think that God feels the same way about us. Jeremiah 29: 11 says I know the thoughts I think about you....Isn't it comforting to know that He thinks good thoughts about us. I'm so very grateful for all He has giving me and all He does for me and my family.
BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 Give me Faith, a strong faith. Faith that listens to your heart and don't need eyes to see. I don't need a Faith that moves a mountian. I just need a Faith that moves me.
I've been asking people in church to raise their hands if they believe God can do anything. Then raise their hand if they believe He will do it. Then how many people believe He will do it for them. If you believe He will do it for you then that is Faith!! BlessingS Carol/MJ Psalm 138:8 |
